He replaced the expansion tank, checked the boiler and bleed system, and replaced the pressure relief (overflow) valve to ensure the system stays within a safe pressure range. Rodenhiser repaired a fallen light strip in our garage. We were referred by a friend and we are very happy with not only the work, but also the price. In addition, we felt like the company had our best interest at heart. They updated us with their arrival time, as well as sending a picture and full name of their tech. Consequently, we felt safe when the tech arrived and matched his photo. Nice touch!

From the time I contacted Rodenhiser to the completion of service, everyone I interacted has been professional snd courteous. The dispatcher was very understanding and accommodated my schedule on short notice. The technicians in site communicated clearly and professionally. There was no pressure or aggressive sales tactic, they simply made suggestions and shared all the necessary and relevant information to allow me to make an informed devision. One other thing that may seem trivial but I have appreciated over the years is the fact all the technicians always wear their plastic booties. That, while it seems minor, it shows their respect for the customers' homes. No other plumbing or heating companies do that

I give Alex an A+. He was thorough, knowledgable and courteous. He solved the problem efficiently and effectively. But I give Rodenhiser an F. I've been their customer for many years and have a service plan for the equipment. My furnace was down and it's winter - an emergency for me. But apparently not for Rodenhiser! It was 17 hours from the time I called them for emergency service to the time Alex arrived. Rodenhiser: if you advertise emergency service, charge for emergency service, and make emergency service a feature of your annual support plans, you need to provide emergency service. 17 hours doesn't cut it.
Absolutely no problems. Alex is a professional, friendly, courteous clean. I look forward to seeing him again when he returns at some future date with the part that needs replacing. He gave us good information about the future services we might need and we are anticipating signing up for various monthly services with Rodenhiser.
Ran into some issues with the system and getting parts. But methodically solved the problems and clearly communicated the timeline for restoring heat and hot water. Overall great job.

Rodenhiser sent us very skilled, personable, helpful plumbers for the replacement of our old hot water heater. We are very pleased with the job they did and with the attitude they conveyed of partnership. Corinne and Josh did a good job explaining what they were doing. Where warranted, they explained the ramifications of choices we had to make and associated cost. This was our first time using Rodenhiser and we are fans. I am checking "overpriced" but that is because I think everyone is overpriced. There are not enough plumbers and it shows in everyone's pricing. I will say, though, that Rodenhiser was not the highest priced of the four quotes we got.
Corinne did a fantastic job for us. The work of both Corinne and Josh was neat. orderly, done well and in a time-efficient manner. They were both very pleasant and very respectful of our home. We are now Rodenhiser fans!

Alex provided advance notice of arrival time. Asked about noise issue that has gotten worse recently and was able to replicate it. Could not find specific cause but performed comprehensive maintenance and checked all components. The maintenance was needed regardless of the large noise issue. But anyway, so far the large explosive noise has not returned. Shortly after original installation, a factory representative was not able to eliminate the noise. But, either way, he did a great job.
He and his crew were fast and efficient. We expected that the job would take 3 days but by 3pm they were cleaning up and leaving on the second day. These guys went the extra mile. Helped move boxes to the second floor and moved a bureau out of harms way and when done they put it back in the same exact place. He and the crew explained everything and helped get the app installed and running. I could go on but you get the idea. Btw, the electricians did a good job too.

AJ explained to me why the water kept running in the toilet. A round cylinder was stuck. He showed me what to do if happened again. I gave him permission to replace the old flapper and an another item . ( I cannot remember its name.) Before he replaced the above he quoted the cost to me. I accepted the cost. Within about ten minutes the toilet was repaired, I thought he was an very good technician.

I woke up to no heat, and after a couple of calls I managed to have an emergency team come to my house to assess. Alex and his partner (sorry, forgot the gentleman's name) came earlier than expected and did an excellent job figuring out the issue and conducting the appropriate repairs. Not only that, but they were both friendly and patient with me and my many questions, and took the time to make sure they were all answered. All told, it took maybe 2 hours from first arrival to completion. And although the cost seemed high for the age of the system (the HVAC system is not even 3 years old), I cannot complain about the speed and quality of the work. All of my experiences with the Rodenheiser techs have been positive, and today was no exception.

He was professional and pleasant in manner and behavior. Although, he could not recreate the conditions for the failure of my hot water system. He did give several options to pursue. He made me aware that the system should be regularly flushed. This was a surprise because when I had the boiler service this year the technician told me it was not a normal thing they did. Mikes suspicion for cause of the issue was that a sticky valve was most likely, usually a result of build of scale deposits in the heat exchangers. I am dismayed. I currently have two service contracts, a heat pump and a gas boiler. The gas boiler is a combination unit. It seems to me that I should not have to purchase a third contract to for a single system. I ask you to review your contract policies

In addition to responding quickly to the emergency call I had placed, Donquor did such an amazing job repairing the pinhole leak in one of my baseboard heating pipes. He even captured before-and-after photos for me to submit to my insurance company and was so unbelievably kind. He verified everything was working properly, disposal, dishwasher, etc. We needed a new trap installed and he was able to take care of that today. Dan Dalton came, quickly assessed the problem (heat was unable to catch up with settings on thermostat in 5 year old ducted hybrid HVAC system). Problem was a an electronic vent damper that was no longer opening fully. Dan went to get the part and returned, replacing it at the very end of its warranty. He suggested we get 1 year warranty on the $1300 part. Should anything go wrong with it, they will replace it free of charge for the part and labor.

Justin and his supervisor were very professional and reassuring. They explained the problem with getting a new parts and explained that they thought they had a repair that would work. Luckily it did and after eight days of no heat the house is warm. Justin than completed the scheduled maintenance while the repaired blower unit was working allowing Justin to monitor things while he checked out the rest of the system. Finally when Justin was walking me through the billing he he noticed I had been overcharged and called in to explain the correct charge and made sure I would be refunded. He went that extra step and I am grateful.

Not only did he perform the scheduled pump repair for my gas furnace, but he cleaned and then patiently showed me how to clean/change the filters for my air exchange and dehumidifier on my own for next time. Servicetitan/Corrinne met her communicated arrival time, performed the maintenance on our tankless water heater. Corrinne noticed, tested and verified a couple of gas leaks on our pipe joints. A propsed resolution was presented to me. After questioning and evaluating all the details; I agreed to the proposed work. Aaron was brought on to assist with this work. Work was completed, tested and we are currently awaiting a timely call/inspection process. I am happy with this work. Nov. 4th, 2025 - I am wondering when the “Inspection” of the work will take place here. I haven’t heard from anyone yet. Also, I don’t believe that the exterior piping had been re-painted. TIA.
